They're fun, but a pain to get anything concrete for. (I think it took from half a year to just over a month or so ago to get all of their real names since they kept introducing themselves with different names.) I did forget to mention in the post that they're extremely loyal to the Decepticon cause, and the brand of chaos they present to their faction-mates is far more benign than what they toss at the Autobots. Though you're right, I don't recall a lot of fandom work with devotees of any sort. Well, beyond Sunstorm, but even he isn't used all that much.
But I've also got a cannibalistic cult that follows the Great Devourer, who keep things consensual (it's complicated) and do a lot of charity work. Then I've got a messenger of Primus who's somewhat demi-godish, whose only "weapons" are his harmonica and messenger bag, and turns into a pigeon.
Even in canon there's not a lot on Cybertronian religion, despite that their Gods are very real and do play a part in the lives of the characters we see. Hell, it's practically canon that Optimus Prime is robot Jesus. So like 80% of my OCs, they've developed to fill in gaps I see that shouldn't be there.
