It's snowing! Or, at least it did snow, then it turned to icy rain, and now I think it's stopped completely. But there was definitely some snowing going on earlier.
Halloween was awesome! :D I was hoping for an authentic American festivity, and it delivered! The only think lacking was the red plastic cups with beer that you see in basically every college movie there is, but besides that it exceeded my expectations! Nobody really recognized my costume, though. I had one person suggest Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction. Because yeah, last time I checked she was blond and wore glitter leggings. Maybe if I go as Mia next year people will guess Lady GaGa? :P I also had the opportunity to use the phrase "Whoa, dude, I'm not that drunk!" when someone tried to use "I'm so wasted" as a pick-up line. I subsequently felt like a bitch, and it was awesome! Haha! I also got to turn Death down, which is not something that happens every day. Don't know why I did that, though, because he was really cute, but I guess that drunk!Me is a bit of a cockblock? :P Either way, I had a great time, and didn't get home until five in the morning, which I think is a first for me. I haven't quite gotten my sleeping patterns back to normal yet.
I'm doing pretty good with my NaNo, too! I'm writing a little bit slower than I was last year, but I think I like the story better this year. My main character is a little bit annoying, though, and not as kick-ass as I had expected, which is quite a bummer. I'm writing in Swedish too, which feels really odd. But I'm having a lot of fun, and it's going well. I'm aiming to hit 10k today, and I'm only ~300 words away from that goal. I think I can do it, haha.
