I solemnly swear I'm... quite pathetic.
Gah, I randomly stumbled across some Marauder era Harry Potter fanfiction, and I'm sitting here getting all misty-eyed. Not due to the fanfic itself (which, truth to be told, is both horribly out of character and defying several rules of the HP universe) but more the general idea of knowing that these characters were all so happy, carefree and lovely, and I know full well exactly what terrible things are in store for them in their near futures. It's really quite tragic. :/

I guess that sometimes I'm just overcome by random emotional outbursts, like when I'm watching Titanic, and in the very first couple of minutes where there's a random montage of the ship and people waving, and I'll start bubbling like a baby, going "All of them are g-going to d-d-dieee!" Apparently this is also applicable to poorly renditioned characters and butchered prose.
