Hey guys, some good news! I'm back from my medication/stress/illness/guilt-induced hiatus... mostly. I won't be back fully until June 1st, but until then, I'm still around for the most part!
For anyone curious what exactly happened... eh, the short version is I acted like a total jerk on another comm, got a lot of people really angry because of it,

Seriously guys, why do you wanna be mods so bad if you aren't actually gonna help with the mod duties, especially when I'm not around?

This is actually a really huge concern for me. (Especially when it comes to skipping apps.)

Apps aren't my department actually, I'm in charge of Activity Checks and Taken List Updating / Manangement. I think either Az or Kasu is in charge of apps, I'd go check with them if you've got a concern about that, because I had no idea apps were being skipped. That's a problem. D:

Oh, I totally understand if it's not your thing, don't worry Tora! I already know you do a lot of hard work. But yeah, the situation with the apps is almost becoming depressing. I think Gato brought it up last night in the chat and pretty much got ignored.

If checking apps is really becoming a problem, like the mods in charge just don't have time or something, I could do it. I mean, as a last resort or something, but I have a lot of time to devote and check the apps daily anyway cause I'm nosey about new characters coming in.

No no, you don't have to! I'm gonna bring this up with Az, Kasu, Blank and Zumi. They're the mods, they need to be doing their jobs. I'm not gonna make you do what somebody else is supposed to be doing. But thank you very much for bringing this to my attention, I'll try to get it resolved soon as possible.

Okay, good. Like I said, just as a last resort if you need me. I honestly hate modding but I hate seeing apps just sit there or be skipped a lot more.

And I don't mean to rag on the other mods. XD There WAS a time where apps were getting accepted awfully fast. (I think that was Blank's doing, but don't quote me) I'm just wondering why that suddenly stopped.

There's a lot of canons I don't know - which would be an alarming amount. I can get the ones that I DO know, but otherwise I have to do research into them. I was pretty happy to not be the app checker due to this fact, but I think I might have to shift back to being so at this rate.

(I remember the mention. Trust me, I do...)

Tora - sorry about not getting to this, I had been meaning to. I'm suddenly swamped with work and I can not multitask to save my life.

Oh, that's okay! I totally understand, I thought that's what might've happened, you suddenly got real busy with work or something. It's alright, we'll just try and get more people checking apps, yeah? That way we'll have more people with knowledge of different canons and it'll be quicker for more people to get accepted.

Yeah - I got approached by an actual business looking for a logo. Rush job, jeez they're demanding... these people pay well but they've slotted up a lot of my time and attention lately. I can't keep much else in mind that's not work related; it's got me way scatterbrained lately.

I AM now tracking apps again, I'll get 'em at the end of my work day and just slot it back into the routine. Knocked out of the way what I saw pending on the last page.
