I think I might make it a 'thing'. I don't know, many artists seem to have this 'thing' that they always incorporate into their work and I love dolls so much I just want to paint them over and over again.
i know what you mean. have you seen Brian M Viveros's stuff? thats the biggest 'thing' ive ever seen (all his girls are smoking)or like Audery Kawasaki drawing the same girl over and over. lots of artists have 'things'. it makes sense if there something your constently fascinated with or something your constently trying to work out (ie-i work with death, taxidermy, to try and work out life.) your doll girls are fucking awsome tho so i say for sure make it your 'thing'
Just Googled him! I think I may have seen you post something of his before? Really beautiful work. Oh so Audery Kawasaki DOES draw the same girl all the time? I thought I was just being ignorent in my thinking of that. But yeah, I see what you mean.
I guess there are a lot of things that I'm drawn to and it's been difficult more me to settle on just one, but I think that I can work a lot of those things in and still use my Dolls as the main aspect. I plan on buying a Dollfie soon, they're really expensive but I think It'd help with the way I pose things.

yup i posted him before. she does, she dreams about her all the time apparently but doesnt know who she is. i cant remember all of what she said about it or find the article tho-bah, i hate DA, HATE it! never go on there anymore. mainly for reasons like that, ha ha, what.a.dick

I know, right?! I'd love to know what she finds 'fascinating' about them, other than the fact other people are doing them - I doubt she's given it much thought, if any.
And I think she knows just as much about Hans Bellmer as any other scene kid - absolutely nothing.
