Somewhere off in the Nexus

After seeing Enzan in the hospital and apologizing, V2 and Blues headed back home. V2 was feeling upset again and tried writing it out in his journal, but when that wasn't enough, he asked Blues if it would be okay for him to go off alone for a little bit

Most people probably wouldn't notice V2 there, but Blues was looking specifically for him. He paused when he spotted him, though. V2 was... crying? Blues frowned. Obviously, Enzan had had good reason to worry about him. Blues started moving again, quietly approaching the navi. When he reached V2's side, he sat down next to him, hesitantly touching his shoulder.

"Are you all right?"

V2 quickly stopped himself from crying and didn't move for a moment. He slowly turned and looked at Blues, examining his face for a moment.

He started wiping at his eyes to dry his face, feeling a little embarrassed, "I dunno."

"Hmm." Blues kept his hand where it was, resting on V2's shoulder. "Enzan told me what happened. I would have liked to have been there for you." He was here now, but he didn't know how much good he could do. "Was my Enzan able to repair you?"

V2 gave a faint smile. Mainly because he felt like he knew who this Blues was, but he wasn't completely sure with the short hair.

"Yeah. Just about everything. Blaze changed some things to my code, and he was able to change it back."

Blues quirked an eyebrow. "'Just about'?" he echoed. "Then not everything was fixed?"

V2 watched Blues for a moment. Instead of explaining he decided to show him.

He lowered his pillow and called on his armor. One hand moved up to the Navi symbol on his chest where a small gash was down the center of it.

Blues' eyes went to the navi symbol, immediately noticing the damage. He frowned again. "Does it hurt?" he asked.

"No." V2 shook his head and looked down at it, "It's like a scar I guess but I am sure it is easier to hurt me there...more sensitive."

Well, that was something, at least. "My Enzan knows about this, right? He was unable to fix it?" He would have liked to believe that Enzan could fix anything that might go wrong in a navi he'd constructed, but he knew better than that. There were some things that could not be fixed.

"I think it is dangerous to try to. He should know. No one else knows." V2 brought his knees up and his armor called off again. "It was so awful, Blues."

"Do you want to talk about it?" He kept his voice quiet, concerned, but neutral, trying to let V2 know that it was okay if he did not. He wondered if he should offer V2 a hug. He wasn't certain just how to treat him in a situation like this.

"He was able to control me, Blues. Control my actions. Even something as small as where I am looking." He glanced over to Blues, "I don't want to ever hurt Enzan and he tried to have me kill him."

The was a pause, "Enzan was able to avoid it." Another long pause as V2 squeezed his pillow and started crying softly again.

A hug, he decided, was definitely in order. Blues slid his arm around V2, pulling him closer. "No, V2," he said. "You are wrong. That was not you who tried to do those things. He stole your body from you, but kept you inside while he used it. It is not the same thing."

"I know." THere was no hesitation in returning the hug. V2 buried his face against Blues and started crying a little harder.

"I-...I don't know why it hurts so much."

Blues wrapped his other arm around V2, letting his cheek rest on top of the other's head. "It hurts because he violated your body and your self. He took from you one of the few things anyone truly owns, and he tried to change who you are. He tried to erase you." He tightened his arms, giving V2 a strong hug. "Of course that hurts."

"I know." V2 repeated, "So, why does him leaving me...hurt me more?"
