With his alternate gone, Enzan tried to return back to work. However it seemed hard to concentrate and do any of it, so instead he cleaned everything up and saved everything ( Read more... )

Blues wouldn't be hard to find. He was in his office, working on some paperwork from one of the last projects. It wasn't nearly as interesting as the project itself, but it needed to be done. Still, he would probably welcome a distraction right about now.

Enzan made his way to Blues' office where he gave a polite knock before opening the door and poking his head inside.

Blues looked up and blinked. What was the younger Enzan doing here? "Yes, Enzan-sama?"

"It's...me." Enzan realized that he looks exactly like his alternate.

"The Enzan you live with." Enzan gave a sigh and looked down.

This statement made both of Blues' eyebrows raise in surprise. "Enzan? What happened?" The obvious answer was Nexus LOL, but... he wanted to be sure.

Honestly, Enzan didn't want Blues to get upset with his alternate as that is a relationship he didn't want to hurt. But Blues did deserve to know exactly what happened. Enzan tried his best not to over exaggerate or not tell all the details.

"Enzan got upset with me and made me eat LOL candy. Turned me into this."

Not again... Blues resisted the urge to groan and just signed instead. "Are you all right?" he asked, moving closer to examine Enzin better.

"I have a head ache and I just ache period." Enzan felt like crying but the tears didn't seem to be coming. His voice grew small, "I'm so sorry Blues."

Blues gave Enzan a confused look. "Sorry for what?" He reached out to put a hand on Enzan's shoulder. "You did not ask to be LOLed."

Enzan looked down and off to the side, "I should tell you. I hit him. A couple of times." Enzan grew tense, "But he kept poking at me and aggravating me asking me to!" A frustrated sigh came next, "I know that doesn't make it right. I'm sorry."

Blues really didn't feel like scolding Enzan about fighting, especially since it seemed obvious that he already felt bad about it. Instead, he just pulled him into a hug and smoothed his hair. "I am not the one you need to work things out with," he said simply.

Enzan welcomed the hug, "I don't want to see him." Enzan started to grip Blues' shirt a little tighter and mumbled more to himself, "I don't care if it is stupid..."

"I won't make you do anything, Enzan-sama," Blues murmured, rubbing his back as he held him. He was done fighting that battle, at least for now. "Do you want to go home?"

"Yeah. But I can go alone if you have more work to finish up." Enzan pulled away and looked up at Blues, "Can I ask you something?"

Blues smiled, amused. "You can ask me anything you want," he said. He let go of Enzan, too, and moved to get his coat from his chair. "What is it?"

Seeing Blues smile made him bottle up inside. He didn't want to ask now, but he knew he had to. This is just like what Blues had talked about and that he needed to be more open and trusting.

Enzan couldn't help but fidget a little, as he forced himself to go ahead and ask,

"How would you feel if someone called you a fag? Or a faggot?"
