So at Beverly's Crafts and Fabrics you're not allowed to be human. You must become a cold human, unwiling to be pleasant to those around you.
You must not sing to yourself, even if there are no customers in the store.
You must not try to destract youself from singing by writing on a piece of paper. Even if there are no people left in the store, you've cleaned all the register counters, computer screens, sweapt, and organized the tables around you, after a manager has made it VERY clear you are NOT supposed to sing. Plus my doctor said writing is a good way to keep away my anxiety attacks and manic depressive breakdowns.
Riding a bike to work is a sin. Especially if THEY have NOT informed you about storing a bike in case lets say, you were getting to work on time. They bitch at you for not having a bike lock and tell you that you my not store it in the cage next to the building even the damn thing is nearly empty for the shear stake of being a bitch.
Publicly humiliating your employees is a good way to keep Beverly's Crafts and Fabrics employees in check. Bitching at them and scolding them as if they are a five year old in front of the rest of the employees is good reinforcement. Especially over really stupid shit like singing or writing so I don't go insane.
Then they send you home early because they're whores.
I guess I'm off to find a new job tomorrow.
