They say the rooftops surrounding Time Square will be occupied by snipers this year. Friendly snipers, but snipers none the less. It would be a bit of a double edged sword I imagine, knowing that there are scads of rifles aiming from the clouds, possibly pointed at the back of your head. Might make for a bittersweet celebration.
