I had....so much to say. But of course I'm here now, and it's all evading me. Hmm, been very busy, Christmas shopping and what not. Put the tree up. Which by the way, I had to do twice. Long story short, Sara came to realize that it's not wise to attempt climbing an artificial tree. It tends to not stay vertical. You know, I bawled having to do it a second time. Don't have any clue why, except maybe that I put so much effort into the tree, it's a damn work of art, and here, in one fell swoop, it was a heap of broken glass and red hair. Sara's fine by the way, she didn't make it too far up before someone yelled "TIMBERRRR!!" so no injuries to worry about. And really, when you sit back and think about it, it was damn FUNNY. Only a six year old would think she can climb an artificial tree.

So yes, tis the season. And as always, I've spoilt them all. It's gonna be sooo much fun. We built a rec-room in the basement for the kids, without them knowing a damn thing about it. They think Paul's been building a workshop for himself so they've been showing a severe lack of interest in all the hammering and paint fumes. It will stay locked up until Christmas morning, at which time they will be sent on a goose chase to find the key to unlock the door. I could just puke with excitement. I can't wait for them to walk through that door.

In other, more important news, Kayla's nose is completely straight now, and according to the doc's, show's no signs of needing surgery. Which is a good thing because I don't think she could go through anymore hassles. As for Lorena, the police have been in touch, but only to tell us that the *investigation* has changed hands and there is now a juvenile detective on the "case". What's there to investigate? Ugh, it's so obviously going nowhere.

The school council held a big rally (to which the community council was expected to attend) in an attempt to save the school. It appears my standing on the community council is safe considering I voice the same opinions as many of my community citizens. So huzzah, my absence from the rally was noted and appreciated. There's a city council meeting tonight, hopefully the closure decision will be made so we can be set to the constructive task of finding an appropriate solution. All the attentions have been laid toward keeping the school open, knowing full well that it's going to be closed, and the councils have put off coming up with solutions until the last minute. No doubt, there will be absolutely no decision made, because well, we need to use up our refreshment budget, but here's hoping. /sarcasm

Babble, babble, and although I probably don't need it, I'm off to make a coffee.
