tell laura i love her

so ray peterson died. ive never heard that song before. the only reason i know it is because in the movie high fidelity, jack black was going through the "top five songs about death: a tribute to laura's dad". "tell laura i love her...that would bring the HOUSE DOWN. laura's mom could sing it!" laura was john cusacks woman in the movie. so it all intertwined.

i was sitting in class this morning and this girl pulls up a chair next to me and whips out one of those green metal thermoses. its a 50 minute class. and shes packing for the week apparently. but its friday. not to mention she was the type who comments on everything the teacher says:

teacher: "...and these are called monosaccharides."
annoying bitch: "yeah. yup. yup. one saccharide."

luckily class only lasted about 30 or so minutes so i got out of it without much injury. i mean she got out of it without much injury.

i started watching this movie last night. once upon a time in the west. its pretty good actually. its a western as you may have guessed, but its kind of artistic. it was directed by sergio leone, who directed once upon a time in america with deniro and the good the bad and the ugly with eastwood. so the man knows what the fuck hes doing. and besides it was #29 on imdb.com's 250 best movies of all time. also, one of the gunslingers in the opening sequence committed suicide on the set in real life, which was bizarre but cool.

my grandparents surprise 40th was a few weeks ago, but the surprise was on everyone that was there. my grandpa never showed up.

interpol is coming to niagara falls in march. i was gonna make the trip and go down to see them play radio city whilst lodging with michael scott fiesinger at hofstra, but conflicting schedules forced that idea out of the way. so me and vic and i think jess and a couple heads from fisher are going. so, the more the merrier.

after years of boycotting the commercialized excuse known as valentines day, i have come to embrace it. after all, it is about love, trust, communication, equality, and simply being a compliment to one another rather than a hinderance. and after turning down all the meaningless proposals in the past, i finally accepted from a girl who requested to remain nameless or she said that she wouldnt let me take her out to dinner............so................
