Ok, in like over a month or more I finaly got motivated to fix up the GeeSR aka The N/A Beast. I put some panels and the center console back in. Fixed up this and that. Then took her for a drive. lol
Man, it's still a thrill. ;) Right out of the hole she pulls so hard and just crusing around in my neghiborhood I was speeding. I mean not totally excessively, but like 40mph in a 25. lol But my exhaust and the sound of the car made it seem a lot louder. :p The guy who called the cops on me last time gave me that evil look again and I dont think he was too happy to see my car on the streets as much as I was. hahahaha fucker.
But I took her out on the main road and OMG she pulls hard, either that or I've missed it for too long. In seconds I was riding peoples ass and from light to light bursting from groups of cars to another. It was great. But it was only for a few minutes though. She was low on gas, and fuck spending near 2bux a gallon to fill her up so I brought her home nearly on an empty tank. I'll let the rents fill her up when it comes to to sell her.
I hope whoever buys her will enjoy her as much as I did. I mean damn this car is FUN! I only wish Jmaxx could drive her one last time. He'd be impressed with what has become of her. I'm sure those of you reading this think I'm off my fucking rocker or something. But for an N/A powered car that just has some simple piston upgrade. My car pulls strong. Only those who have driven it know what I'm talking about. :p
Now to think what I'm going to get next. I've been looking into a few different things. However I'm not really set on what to get next. The rents sure as hell dont want me to get another sport compact so I'm limited on my choices. Which sucks. I was kinda toying with the idea of getting an old Military issue Army Hummvee H1. Like retired 1986-9 or something. I know you guys are probably thinking they get horrible gas milage but I talked to a bunch of US Army Rangers that drive these thigns everyday and they said they get AWESOME gas milage on a tank. Considering that it's diesel and the tank is like a 60gallon tank. lol
They also gave me the number and few locations of some Military Surplus auctions around Columbus and Alabama so I think I'm gonna check them out. He said they are well within my budget but most likely they are gonna be stripped and be hella fixer uppers. Cool with me. Just as long as it has 4 seats and runs I dont care what the hell kind of asthetic condition it's in. The Army has to get rid of them some how.
On the more practical note, I'm looking at a Land Rover Discovery II V8 4X4. Pretty nice SUV. Common as hell which definatly puts it in my budget. The rents bitch about how Landrover parts are so expensive though, they're right. But hey it's a Landrover these are PIMP! What other SUV has two power sun roofs?!
I'm also looking into Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. My parents have one and it's pretty nice. I want 4WD and V8 though.
However if I win the lottery (ROFL), I'm definatly going to get my H1, but either a Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab 4X4 or F150 FX4 Crew Cab 4X4. I dont think the put the Cummings Turbo Diesel in the Ram 1500, but damn that'd be awesome if they did. I'd be sold.
