I know! It was so out of the way though, I had to make it up to by traveling partner by taking her to Akiba for a few hours after the restaurant. I had dumplings and two different meat dishes. One of them you're suppose to wrap in lettuce that's when Aibas mom was showing us how to eat the dish and the other you had to mix with something and she mixed that for us. Unfortunately people were looking at us like we were crazy being the only foreigners there even the girls that were behind us was making fun. It wasn't a pleasant experience dealing with the other girls. But Aiba's mom and other staff were super nice and pleasant. The wait was so bad! I thought I was going to faint I was so hungry.
I went to Johnny's shop also but was not allowed to take pictures of the store not even outside! I went twice in the middle of the day and there were no lines. Though they only had pics for Arashi.
wow the food sounds so good! that's too bad that those girls were making fun of u. they should have realized that not everyone knows how to eat all jp food.
je shops are so strict! or so it seems. where the goods expensive?
They were making fun of us while we were on the line. We were being stared at like crazy!
JE is just so strict with everything! There were signs all over the place prohibiting pictures plus they had people outside to enforce it! The store only had pictures for the groups I like (Arashi, NEWS and Kanjani8) they were 150yen each. I didn't really check out the other stuff since I wasn't really interested in the groups (mostly NYC)
those girls act like they have never seen a foreigner. i am going to japan this coming this summer. i'm glad i am half jp anf half ch. but too bad because i will be in the Oosaka area most of the time. have u ever been to Oosaka?
Im filipino and chinese, not really all that foreign! LoL! Im so jealous I wish I could've spent more time there. I was only in Japan for 2 weeks. We spent about a half a day in Osaka. All I can think about was food! Lol.
I will probably come back again in the fall and spend more time in Kyoto and Osaka this time around.
