Hmm, so yes, RL is becoming a draining drain on my energy levels, and I've been absent for way to long, if the skip=300 count is to be believed. Stupid work, keeping me from my flist.
Quickly, because I really do have work to do at work
- Scrabolous is eating my brain, over at Facebook
- I haven't written the last 4k of my NaNo story, but I have every decent intention of doing it this weekend.
- I received my application to the CPC program (due by March 24) and I'm terrified. It's been years since I've had to write any of these personal essay things.
- I received my application for financial aid and I have to ask: as a 28-year-old single woman, do I really have to give them my parents' income? Because really, they aren't helping me pay for this.
- I have just over two weeks to finish knitting my father's sweater.
- I won't be seeing the boys tonight and I'm sad about that.
- It's been raining a lot here (by here, I mean SEATTLE) and I'm fine. No flooding or damages to my stuff, or my parents', or really anyone I know. Some minor flooding for co-workers, and there were landslides, closures, but I'm fine
- Also, I got to break out my rain boots and they are awesome. So many compliments AND so many other women wearing similar styles, with their pants legs tucked in too. AWESOME. (They are gone from Target, or I'd link to them.)
- I like Dean/Bella fics.
