Dress: ME!!<3 Leggings: F21 Shoes: Mine bought from charles and keith sale.:)

This is a distraction: Well, my Broderie Anglaise dress is the talk of my assessment. Yes I have been so caught up with school that I didnt manage to post much entries (well, there isnt really a need to anyways since I have not much followers). well, this is basically school and now I am done with my first semester for my second year. Im now enjoying pretty much all of my time I have to myself. Of course I have to divide that amount of time to specific little things like doing more house chores and family and not forgetting my lovely boyfriend who has been ever so patiently waiting and supporting me all this while while i brag, complained, bitched, etc etc bout school. Thank you for being there for me love. <3 *kissy*.

To give a gist of what my assessment dress is about, well for starters, it's made of cotton/ polyester chiffon voile broderie anglaise. Broderie Anglaise if you might be wondering what ever in the world it is, it's actually eyelet fabric. Since my shell fabric is translucent, I lined it with cotton/ silk voile. yumyum! i love the touch of smooth silky soft things. they make me wanna chew gummy bears and marshmallows at the same time. :D Next, the highlight of the dress is the sleeves. As I have related my theme "Chess" to female power/ dominance, I have given my dress the outstandingly sculptured shoulder VS the softness of the fabric and the drapes mainly found at the center of the dress. there's 7/ 8 pleats on each side of the sleeves. PLUS!!! there is an additional twist to it. I finished the sleeve with a raw edge finishing. double top stitching on both sides. OH! and before forget, since my broderie anglaise fabric doesnt have a nice scallop edge so that I dont have to finish the hemline of the dress, I had to purchase a nice scalloped ribbon/ lace. it is very very pretty. I didnt get to snap a picture of it but i sure fell in love with it the first time I saw it with my boyfriend at spotlight. Spotlight has variety of wonderful pretty things but there are some things are just so exclusive that prolly not many would spot.:D <3

Panel of judges' verdict: .." wow! that is a very cute dress!" I know im bragging but I am quite encouraged/ motivated for assessment when I entered the room. It did made me quite abit more comfortable with presenting my work. (: and of course, all hard work is paid off. The school took my knit dress and I'm hoping still the school would buy my broderie anglaise dress. :)

I found these pictures on feaverish photography under a photographer, Margot Pandone. They'll bring my words to life I suppose.:)

or so help me. Im thinking of you and it hurts my head. :/
love you.
