RE: MANIFEST BLEACH COMMISSIONS

So we underestimated.

We went to Spotlight today. Again. One of the girls there recognises us and flees when we approach the counter. Uh. Picked up MORE material. And various other things that we forgot to account for, like interfacing (homg, backboards, OH MY GOD.)We're looking at adding $10 for the hakama, $5 ( Read more... )

Oh, you poor things! :O Can you still do mine, just the top with a fake lining? How much will that set me back? :O

... :D;;;;;;;;;;;; :D; $30 -- twenty for the yukata itself, and ten for the fake lining. ;3 If we have time, we'll throw in the tabi, too. :D;; But, uh. XD Will see how that goes? *death* <3 <3 You wear a size nine, yes?

Karen: XD; We found this deep pink cotton knit type for your sash, did you want it deep pink or light? Sells for $2 a metre, you'll probably only need one or two at the most. Want us to pick it up for you while we're there? I'd probably recommend hand sewing it into a very long tube, by cutting the metre of fabric in half, attaching the pieces at one end, and folding over lengthwise, sew the long edge, turn it inside out and tuck in the edges and seal up. :D; Your milleage may vary.

Awesome. :D If that's ok! Don't worry about the tabi, I have some ancient socks laying around I can use. :3

And that sash sounds lovely... let's go for light pink. I'm not sure I'll make it to the meet tomorrow so I'll measure myself for you. :3

Karen: Don't know if the sale material is in light pink, so will check the next time we spotlight :D;;; Might not be any because that was in the clearance stock and styles/colours are greatly limited. If not, there's always the cotton poplin.

Also-- please give us your measurements asap! :D; We're working on them now, and have half bowled over, except haven't started yours. :D;;; Sooo. We need your: waist, shoulder-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-wrist, shoulder-to-midthigh, waist-to-floor, and waist-to-ankle. :D;

Karen: Most important would be waist and shoulder measurements, given we need to figure out how much material we need. It's sort of inconvenient otherwise given we have less than three weeks in the country and a lot of things to make.

Sure thing, I'll get it to you tonight... i'll text one of you! I'm so sorry to keep you waiting! When you say 'waist' I'm assuming not-hips but crease-in-womanly-curves-next-to-bellybutton. *dies*

Nonono, it's okay! XD We are attached to our computers anyway, thank you v. much. <3

XD Waist is fine, just an approximate measure along with shoulders to make everything fit. It's all good! Didn't mean to rush you, it will all be okay. :x We were just thinking of what stuff we needed to buy.

(Btw, since I think Sloo's supplying material for your thing, you only owe us $25 for the yukata. :D; Will get back to you if we can find a sash.)
