One of the best things about Baltimore, for me, is
Bengies, an actual drive-in movie theater that shows first run movies.
Oh, you tune to some station that isn't otherwise used instead of having the little speaker boxes but it's the same idea. They even have old-fashioned concession stand animations and Loony Toons shorts between the films.
Best of all, for $8 per person ($4 for kids, plus $7 to bring your own food and drinks), you get a triple feature. Kung Fu Panda is the first feature, which is always a kid-friendly movie. The third flick is Get Smart. Not sure we'll stay for that one. If we're still there, Loki will be in the driver's seat because I'll be passed out. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but not at 1AM.
Especially not after I've just watched The Dark Knight.
My son is going to get to see Kung Fu Panda at least. His father is picking him up from PA Thursday night and dropping him off at my place. Loki will watch the boy during the day since I have to work. I'd prefer if my son fell asleep by the time The Dark Knight starts, but we may just have to deal with a serious clown phobia in the future.
