That was a good port. Not my favorite, but at least I spend most of it not caring about the world at large.

I just wish I remembered more of it.

I now know why alcohol is such a popular choice for forgetting your life.

[Note slid under Prefect's door]

Busy?

There wasn't anything worth remembering.

You sure about that?

I certainly wish I could say otherwise.

[Wait, did that sound...]

Then again, with the Barge, memorable ports are typically unpleasant. So perhaps it's for the best.

Perhaps. Though I cannot think of a port that I found particularly unpleasant.

But most have been memorable.

So what does that mean?

That you have a rich sense of humor?

Surrounded by fallen gods. It loses its novelty on the Barge.

Lighten up, Rex.

You never want to play.

Suggest the right game, and I will.

Let's play tag.

[There had better be a catch to this. AN EVIL CATCH.]

Go on.

[Oh, there is.]

All games have rules, don't they? We'll pick who's...[Pause as he searches for the term] it.

Then they have to tag the other person in...whatever way they see fit.

You get extra points for creativity.

[This will clearly go so well.]

And is there a prize at the end of the game? Or merely the satisfaction of winning?

PRIVATE inhumandog December 17 2010, 03:44:44 UTC
Hm, I hadn't thought about a prize. I'm certainly up for anything you had in mind.

But if not, we can go for the satisfaction of winning.

Let's allow the winner to decide when it comes to it. Within reason, of course.

Perfect.

And since the game was my idea, I'll be it first. [Laugh.]

Run, run.
