Oops! - Anonymous Commenting Now Enabled!

Jan 24, 2008 17:22

Just a quick technical update: I didn't realize that my journal was set to only allow comments from registered users! Sorry everyone lol I've changed the settings so that anyone can comment & it won't autolog your IP address either. This way those of you who I know read but don't have an account can comment now too. Yay!

The only downside to not registering & leaving anonymous comments is that in the event that I reply to your comment, I believe you won't receive an email notification letting you know I did so [which you would if you do register]. So... you either have to manually check back on the specific entry or leave an email address or something of the nature for a dialog to take place. I am also assuming that people will comment at all & if they do that they want to hear what I have to say in response lol I just recommend registering, even if you don't intend to keep a blog on here - It's free & easy & there are lots of great Christian communities on LJ that you could join after registration & post in & you can comment on others' entries & make friends. It's actually a pretty neat resource ^_^ But either way, anonymous commenting is now enabled.

Hopefully this won't inspire any trolls to comment [for those unfamiliar with blog slang: trolls = people who write mean/disparaging/rude/disrespectful/insulting/etc comments just for the sake of writing them to hurt & discourage others. It's actually really sad but it does happen].

Anyway that is all. Now you're all free to comment as you wish! lol

In His Love,
Jess

PS. Thanks Shalom for registering anyway lol I really appreciate your comments ♥
