[Action // Whenever time // 7135 Brooks Street]

[ Joker, if today is the day you feel like returning home, then so much won't be different about the house. The curtains are drawn, there's nothing much done to the door... ... except that it's locked. Bolt and chain sort, but locked nonetheless. If today is not the day to return home, then that's fine ( Read more... )

[Parsee will probably hear the sound of a phone receiver clattering onto a table. After a long moment, the phone is picked back up and a shaky, yet probably familiar, voice will come over it. Yamame knows who that is...she could recognize that voice from a mile away.]

P-parsee-nee?

[ ... okay, that was a surprise voice. But she knows who it is - who else is there that calls her nee? ]

Spider girl? What are you doing on this?

Where do you think I live? Are you speaking about the building I'm inside? -- What do you know about it?

[Then, something that Parsee had probably rarely ever heard happens. Yamame sounds kind of mad...and demanding.]

TELL YAMAME WHAT HOUSE PARSEE-NEE IS IN!!

[ That... was. It stunned her into a silence and threw off her own small demands. Parsee almost didn't know how to answer her, if to answer her - but finally... ]

... How should I know?

[For probably the first time Parsee's ever heard, Yamame is commanding, her voice carrying a tone that expected Parsee to follow her orders.]

Parsee-nee needs to go outside and look at the number on the house, and look at the name of the street your house is on...then tell Yamame.

Parsee-nee is kidnapped and Yamame will come to see you.

[ Maybe Parsee would have been swayed by her words. Under another circumstance, she might've acted like it was no big deal and told her, all to try and act like it meant something.

But what Yamame told her to do asked her to cross a border she was unable to cross.

A border she refused to. ]

If you want to come to me so much, why don't you look for me yourself?

[ Her voice was as cheery as she could make it - if there was anything Parsee can rely on other than her jealousy, it was her stubbornness. It was part of it anyway. ]

I've never been kidnapped before. Is it interesting?

[Oh...FUCK no. Parsee's just pissed Yamame off now. Not only does she sound commanding...but she almost sounds dangerous.]

Parsee-nee, tell Yamame where you are. There might be paper letters with your address on them somewhere. This isn't a game.

Tell Yamame now.

[ Maybe Yamame was right. Maybe if she looked, she might be able to find something that would help Yamame to find her. But with her decision made, Parsee doesn't want to back down. Even as she hears an almost different girl on the other side from the one she knows. ]

Or what?

[Alright, that's it...Yamame's gone with how mad she is at Parsee right now.]

BECAUSE YAMAME IS A YOUKAI AND PARSEE IS HUMAN RIGHT NOW!! YAMAME WILL BEAT YOU UP IF YOU DON'T TELL ME!!!

[ deal with it, Yamame. The madness had surprised her before, but she knows a little something about this phone thing here... ]

Spider Girl will have to find Parsee-nee before she can do that.

You better start looking.

[ And one way to make the voices disappear? Hang up the phone. ]

[Yamame's phone? Smashed to pieces. She just wanted to see Parsee-nee again but she was so desperate she kind of went overboard. Does she realize this? No. She's pissed.

Pissed enough to start flying around town, investigating every...single...house. She'll look in every single window, knock on every single door, do whatever it takes to get an answer out of the house and determine whether or not Parsee is there.

She's not going to stop, eat, sleep or anything until she finds her, too.]

[ Did Parsee expect Yamame to go searching for her? Maybe. Maybe the thought played around in the back of her mind, but she didn't want to think that she really would. Going to her bridge was easy, but why would she want to actively look for her? ]

[Oh, she was actively looking all right.

It will likely take the better part of the day for Yamame to finally find herself weakly knocking on the door to Parsee's house. By better part of the day...I mean it's probably 10pm at this point. Yamame hasn't gone looking into any windows yet...but if nobody answers the door she'll surely start.

If Parsee DOES answer the door...she's going to find a pretty haggard-looking Yamame. Running all over the neighborhood and investigating all the houses she can is hard work. She won't look any less mad, though.]

[ Late at night, Parsee would have expected Yamame to have long given up. She would have stopped expecting anything at all. She didn't know how many houses were out there, that Yamame would be stubborn enough to look through all of them for her.

So when she hears that knock at the door, it catches her interest to go up to it. As far as Parsee knew this was the first time anyone had come from the outside up to the house. She doesn't say anything, but waits, wondering if they would knock again. ]
