Ed? [She questions, because really the space of the time she had been in Mayfield was a month ago and she had been tortured, sorta hoping this is all a dream.]

Well, the usual is fairly barmy to begin with. [She's trying to joke, but with the war over she's still thinking things.]

If Ron still had his deluminator. It's an object from home, if he were permanently droned it would be gone.

His...what? Some kind of light?

Deluminator. It's an object that can take in and hold light and return it as well. We learned more recently it can do more than that, but essentially it's most common use is for turning out the lights, so to speak.

If you've ever seen a lighter it looks something like that. It's a small metallic tube that you can click open.
