My hesitance to watch has been proven unnecessary. Yay! In short, I liked.
--I'm so surprised at how much I actually like Jodie--she feels so genuine, and warm and real and all those good things characters should be.
--lol, "it's called anime"
--I like the resurgence of boys-being-boys, if a lot rougher around the edges and a whole swathe of issues to deal with. The rock-paper-scissors thing was a nice throwback.
--I don't like how they opened the episode with footage that actually came into play five minutes in. A bit purposeless. And it makes it harder for me to pay attention to anything that comes before that action.
--hee, Dean and Ness both have such gravelly voices. It's like they amplify the effect in each other.
--SAAAAAAM. Become crazy. Please. Just do it.
--Not quite sure how I feel about Ness's character. Something about him is just not quite right with me, and I don't really know why.
--lol, "Stiff your b...bing--what?" Oh, Dean :)
--I'm laughing out loud. I can't believe it. Like, multiple times in the same episode.
--I love the music. Builds the atmosphere very effectively.
--"Damn--okay, yours sounds better." SAAAAM. Sam and Jodie are an awesome team of awesomeness, and they should fight crime together, or something.
--Sam's face! "And he's trapped forever." SAM, REMEMBERING HOW IT WAS WHEN DEAN WAS TRAPPED IN HELL.
--JOOOOOODIE talking about puzzles and Bobby and I LOVE HER FACE and she's so good, let's keep her forever.
I like this epi. I like it lots. I'm gonna keep this one.
