Not a happy day. I hate today.

Had a rather nice weekend this weekend but then to top it off I was just about to go to bed and though ‘I haven’t seen scrabble tonight, he’s usually up and about by 10pm’ just went back to make sure he’d got some food left for when he did decide to get up out of bed. I lifted the lid on the cage and he didn’t come out to investigate like he usually did. I check to make sure he was still in the cage and hadn’t made a bid for freedom, so looked in his travel box bit where he usually sleeps. Sure enough he was curled up in the bedding in there, you could just see his back poking through the bedding. I opening the lid on the travel box and he didn’t move, I watched his back and couldn’t see him moving at all. I blew gently on his back to see if he was just sleeping and he still didn’t move. I gave him a little stroke and he didn’t move.. ;~(. I gave him a little nudge and he was stiff :~~(. Scrabble, mine and Gem’s first little pet together, has died in his sleep :(

Very unhappy, Very bad day… I hate the 12th of December :P
