sporty day (on the sofa)
Spent a lot of Sun. on sofa watching British GP, then Wimbledon - first Men's final, then Mixed Doubles final - which I enhoyed more, not just 'cos a Brit won (Murray wins Wimbledon title! no...not that one) but because they seemed to enjoy playing the match so much.
pretty tired still, but it has only been a month Tuesday since the op. hopefully soon I'll have more energy. I told Mum this afternoon: maybe I'll be playing tennis this time next year - who knows - so much could happen in the next year! I got Mum to get me a student diary so I can keep a record of the first year or so - it goes up to August 2008. I Keep remembering things from last time that I'd totally forgotten; I aim to keep a record, 'cos I don't intend to be reliving the "new kidney" experience again!
Tonight I baked a potato in the microwave - even the smell was good! (took me a little time to remember how long to cook it for!) I used to eat them all the time 8-odd years ago! (good student food)
and yes...it tasted delicious.
