Yeah I don't think I could get through seeing my family without a bottle or two. Well I might like it better if they drank it but I'll settle for it being me.

So now that you're all here in the same town what do you all do?

Eric is a teaching assistant by day and bartender at Ralph's by night. Irene, Nick and India are attending classes at the college. I lease apartments and manage the office stuff for Yuffie. Isabella is an investigator and India work with her.

Sounds like a pretty neat family.

Well if I get this bouncing job I guess that means I can stick in town for a while. At least around here people don't look at me like I am insane when I say vampire.

We're an interesting group, but it's better to only deal with a couple of us at a time. We tend to be...without filters when we are all together.

*sips her margerita*

It's strange, but in some ways I think being here has made me more comfortable with myself. I can't explain it really, but I feel like I can finally relax and just be me.

Well the town had to have a few good points to it. I'm glad it's being a good home to you so far.

I'm feeling better here than I have in other places too. Whether it's from not having to hide things, or you know finally getting to thank Buffy I don't know. But it's kind of on the cool side.

Maybe I'm maturing...nah that can't be it.

I think part of it is that living in this town makes you realize life is too short to carry old grudges or worrying about trying to live a lie.

*shrugs*

I don't know, but so far it's been good for us I think. Isabella worries that something will happen to us, but we're all being careful. United we stand and divided we fall is what Nicky and Eric would say.

Yeah life is definitely short.

She's probably worried. She had to see people die in the apocalypse, if she saw one of you hurt she'd probably feel like you would seeing her get hurt.

I'm glad you're careful, and having all the back up is good. Just, things can go bad.
