I just finished watching season 1 of Torchwood, and I'm all kinds of hooked. But holy cow season 2 is taking forever to download, and it's making me saad! D:
But considering the dream I had last night, I think a Torchwood-break might be good for me. Ehhm. I usually never dream of celebrities (which is really sad btw *sigh*), but yesterday apparently made an exception. Only problem was that the dream featured Owen (from Torchwood, of course), who I think looks a bit like a frog.... And he happened to be pregnant. It is also possible that it was my child, I can't quite remember the details. I'm used to pretty fucked up dreams, but this is a new level of strange, even for me. Mpreg? Really? I even skip fic with that warning, because I find it plain weird. But apparently my subconscious doesn't agree *facepalm*
Don't think that this is all Torchwood has done for me lately - it also inspired me to finally start reading wonderful old poetry again. One of the eps featured a line from W.B. Yeats' The Stolen Child, and I fell in love instantly. Come away, oh human child,
To the water and the wild,
With a fairy, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand.
♥
I'm a little embarrassed that I needed a silly sci-fi tv-show to get back my interest for poetry, but whatever. At least I got it back :D
Oh, and there is a (potential) name change ahoy. I don't like this name much anymore, so I've been wanting to change it for a while. What I've been considering for a new one is some kind of anagram of my two first names...prefferably Ingria, but of course that's taken by someone who hasn't posted in three years >.< So maybe Ingaria or Ingriam then, I'll have to think about it for a while:p
