Reborn

I now know what I was lacking, why I felt such utterly forsaken for a time. I lost touch of the greatest influence in my life; and I've found that without it, I am nothing. But when I found it, I had everything I needed. :)

Life is pointless without it, purpose and reward are empty if they lack it (when you really take a look at the situation you find that one out), and we will never be whole until it fills us entirely.

That is, the Spirit of God.

Perhaps it may be that some of you feel worthless, as though you have no power to change your country, your homes, or your lives. You may feel that going with the tide or trend-which you know is evil-is all you can do. I know I felt that way. I thought I could conquer my loneliness (which has been a problem for some time for me), but I was just suppressing something that I had no power to take away. We can't change the world for good on our own.

Perhaps it's time for a closer look within ourselves. Where do we stray? What are we ashamed of? What habit, feeling, person, or power has us in slavery? No, I'm not asking for a direct answer, just think about it in your own life. All that I wish to emphasize here is thus, who is ready to rise above it? Who has the desire to change their lives for the better? Because there is a cure, there is a blessed hope that can save us from the cruelty of ourselves. And it is not the false system of Christianity we see today. It is Jesus, God with us.

Some have sold Him short, saying that He is too busy to see your suffering. Others will say or imply that He has no power to change you. Still others say that you can live as frivolously as you choose and he will always forgive you. That's a blatant lie. Foods soon lose their savor, drink soon loses its ability to satisfy the thirst, the physical or emotional high loses its potency for pleasure. When we liver for ourselves, we will never be satisfied. We see death and depression all around us, and we have it ourselves because we are slaves. But the whole time new Life has been knocking and calling for you, waiting for you to open the door.

Everyone, everyone, sees the hypocrisy in the so-called Christian church. Why? Because they claim that if you go along with their game, you will be free from guilt, free from sin, when in reality they are not free. These people limit GOD by saying we cannot be perfect when Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." He didn't even give room for doubt if people said that He was a man, therefore imperfect. We cannot rely on man to have a relationship with God that will bring us peace, joy, power, and all that follows. The preacher can still choose the world, but it is your choice to follow Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

You want to know the Truth? It is only in Christ Jesus.
