HIYA! (for those of you who stuck around in spite of my months of online silence). I am still here, and no, this journal is not gone and lost forever.

You see, I've been having a hell of a time figuring out this whole wife/mother/me thing. No, seriously. Nevermind the fact that I've been watching my wonderful 6 month old son most of the day,

You've been a mod for ages and aaaaagggeeesss. However you had never expressed an interest to be a maintainer as well. I just addded you as a maintainer, though, so it'd be cool if you wanted to make a post that the community is closed to new members for awhile (we had a bunch of people apply as dead_dumbl, or dumbldr_dies the last book-- it really sucked, ut don't worry I have it set to NOT EMAIL membrship requests). And no, i have not abandoned the community either. I expect it to be around a good long time. =)

Anywho- existing members only for awhile. All posts moderated for a while.

Tell them that all posts regarding the new book should be under a spoiler cut when the post gets spoiler-ish, etc.

Remind them all to STAY OFF THE INTERNET all together if they really don't want to see spoilers, but that we'll do what we can to not let it happen.... yada yada. Add whatever you like, and say it how ya please.

Or I can say all of this if you like. I just thought you'd like a chance to let everyone see you in your brand new maintainer robes!

Maintainer, yes, that's what I meant. XD Sorry. We had a troll post a supposed picture from the book the other day (apparently there are two versions of the book floating around and one is fake--? I don't know) and I panicked. :) We've already taken a poll to see how long cut tags will be used after the book comes out. I haven't checked the poll today but I think "one month" was in the lead last I checked, which is good. Better safe than sorry. :)
