My suit seems to have met with a mishap. [Apparently you can't dry wool in a dryer?] My shirts seem quite unharmed, but my best evening clothes are far too small.
[Erik made his way to level four, room five, with as little contact as possible. He wore only his shirt and trousers (and shoes, of course), and kept his mask, but he was missing his jacket and cloak. It was most undignified. He knocked on the door, frowning at the need to take care of these mundane details.]
[Prefect was at his desk when Erik knocked on the door, he had just had to pause in the process of filling out their marriage certificate, as he had realized he didn't actually know the name of his soon to be spouse. It was at this precise moment when Erik knocked on his door, carrying with him, all the answers Prefect would ever need.]
Coming, Comrade!
[It was obviously destiny. Darting over to the door, Prefect snatched the handle and stepped back, pulling it open and stepping aside simultaneously for Erik to enter. From around the edge of the door, he gazed longingly at the other man.]
Please come in, Comrade. I'm sorry, I don't believe I know your name?
[There is something deeply suspicious about this man. His attentiveness far surpasses anything the daroga ever showed him, and the way he's staring... Erik pauses, uncomfortable.]
Perhaps this is a bad idea. Erik is a very private man.

What do you charge?
Reply
No charge. I'll just need you to sign some forms. [Like a marriage certificate C:]

[There is something off about this. Erik is not sure what. But... Erik needs clothes.]

[And be your husband!]
Would you like me to bring my equipment over your cabin? I could take your measurements and begin work immediately.

I prefer to go elsewhere, if you have a private location.

You could come to my cabin, if you'd like? I'm afraid It's a little inhospitable, but you're always welcome here. Level four, room five, Comrade.

[He extends his hand]
My name is Prefect.

You are a policeman? Are you quite well? I may return another day, if you are indisposed.

No Comrade, I am an Alpha Plus, I have many skills and abilities and I am feeling wonderful today.
[His smile softens into an expression of concern.]
Please come in, Erik? I'd hate to think of you going un-suited out of concern for my well being.

Yes. I feel most... unseemly without it. Why do you call me Comrade? Are you a Communard?
