Busy, busy, busy, like a really tall bee...
Okay, so I'm pretty short, but I'm still busy. All my weekends seem to be completely booked up until school's out. And it really doesn't seem like there's only a week left.
Last Sunday was my church's annual picnic service outside. It was lots of fun, but it went by pretty fast, and my shoulders got really sunburned! The service was outside in a large tent, and then there was a carnival for the little kids. I was in charge of the candy table (mmmmm...). Then, it was lunchtime -- roast beef sandwiches and lots of salads and some chips. It was good. And after that we had our first "Lip Sync Contest". It was set up like "American Idol," and we even had the judges role-playing Randy, Paula, and Simon. It was absolutely hilarious, and a perfect camp activity.
This weekend is my street's annual street sale. I'm looking forward to it -- I like looking at all the sales and finding a good bargain (like books.) I'm supposed to work, too -- I feel like I've been working every Saturday. At least I'm making some money.
Right now school seems to be going by slowly... In math class today we were just supposed to be doing review, but I was so tired and really didn't feel like doing work. (I never really do, though.) Everyone's signing everyone else's yearbooks... Yeah, I really don't have much to say. :P
