2008 Junos = YAY
So I've looked up the nominees for this year's Junos, and it's quite exciting. Feist is nominated for four categories, I believe: album of the year (The Reminder), artist of the year, pop album of the year (The Reminder), single of the year ("1 2 3 4"), and songwriter of the year. I hope she wins! Plus, she's performing at the ceremony. I will definitely be tuned in.
And the biggest and best surprise? RELIENT K IS NOMINATED AT THE JUNOS!!!!!! YAY!! See, I should probably explain that the Junos are the Canadian music awards (I guess like our equivalent of the Grammys?) So it's unexpected, but I think there are at least a few members of Relient K that are Canadian - they've just moved to the States. So I really, really hope they win! They're nominated in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year category for "Five Score and Seven Years Ago." Such a good album. ;)
