Dear friends and family,
A few days ago, my friend Andrew told me he was entering in a video contest for an independent production company called Wongfu Productions.
Wongfu Productions first began in 2003 on the campus of UC San Diego where three guys (Ted, Philip, and Wesley) and their friends created videos for fun. After years of making videos and having fun sharing them with friends, they thought to make a career out of it. Through word of mouth, Wongfu Productions became well known and now has millions of fans all over the world.
This video contest is called "Are you a Nice Guy?" The original story of "Nice Guy" was created by Wongfu Productions. The old saying of "Nice guys finish last" is presented in the story. Nick, the main character, is the nice guy we all know. He's polite, considerate, friendly...and single. In the 3 part mini series, Nick explains his frustration with being the nice guy, and tries to figure out if there's anyway to get the girl he likes, Amy, to see him as anything other than, "a nice guy" (Taken from http://www.wongfuproductions.com, videos can be found: http://www.wongfuproductions.com/ShortsJANG.html)
The contest theme is to make a 30 second to 5 minute video showing why "Nice is never out of style." The top 5 most popular (most viewed) will be judged by Wongfu Productions. Andrew and his friends have been working very hard to film, edit, and upload the video for a long time now. The video that my friend made, called "Hungree No More" was just uploaded last night/this morning so the video does not have very many hits yet. Currently, the top video has over 105,000 views on the youtube channel!! Therefore, we need your help! Please click on the youtube link shown below and give us your support! Watch it once, twice, three times.. or more and spread the link to your friends and family! Please help my friend's video become one of the most viewed videos! (Let's try to beat the 500,000 mark or even the million!)
