(no subject)
A couple little updates:
- So, the sunburn from Hell (year 2) is almost completely healed up... it doesn't hurt anymore and I can finally wear long pants.
- It itches though...
- I'm in love with my Zen... it's amazing. But I have to re-charge it soon.
- No jobs from BCSN next week.
- One shift from Bath and Body... Tuesday from 11-2. Knowing my luck they'll send me home early.
- I also have call in's on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
- Ribs on the River was a bit over-rated.
- Ribs from Florida = good. Porky and Beans in Port St. Lucie, must remember this!
- The ribs Robert got from Virginia looked very good too.
- Don't eat at Po Mo's in Toledo... those ones sucked.
- Famous Dave's is always amazing... didn't bother wasting my money on those today... I already know that they're good.
- Same with Fat Freddy's.
- Shorty's (part of the Mancy's local chain) had really good pulled pork sandwiches... the sauce was a little boring though. Maybe I'll try their hot sauce sometime.
- Emailed the roomies about coming to Toledo for a Mud Hens game before the semester starts... Brigit and Natalie can't make it next Friday... waiting on word from Jenny and Mike.
- Does anybody else want to see the Mud Hens play? They're currently the best team in the International League (Triple-A) and they're the Tiger's of Tomorrow (or Today if enough of them get injured... knock on wood.)
- Twins won today... they beat the Indians. I'm happy.
- Here's hoping Bonderman doesn't give up 12 first inning runs like he always does.
- My cousin Jesse is the coolest... we're trying to figure out how to get his Tigers tickets from Flint to Toledo by Wednesday so Robert and I can go to our first game of the season!
- First game of the season because I couldn't go with Heather to what ended up being the most fucking awesome game in the history of the Tigers.
- Also the first game because of the fucking bandwagon fans. I think if the Tigers start sliding enough, but still stay in the thick of the pennant race, they might lose the bandwagoners.
- Today felt good... it wasn't too hot.
- Got myself a new book at Border's yesterday. I was torn between the "new" Alex Rider book and a Stephen King book. I figured it would take me longer than two days of Robert being at work to read Stephen King, so that earned my $7.99.
- Signed up for the Borders Rewards club... w00t!
- I double checked for Matt, all the Peony scent has been retired at work... boo! It'll be back in January though.
- Wish I could go to the Lifehouse concert in Sterling Heights.
- But I heard their set list was too short because they shared the concert with the Goo Goo Dolls, so *shrugs*
- I really wish Lindsey Buckingham would tour one more leg.
- If not, then Fleetwood Mac should release another album!
