It takes some time to adjust to this place. I've certainly not reached "normal" yet, myself.
I've only been here about three weeks, so not for very long. Still, the kindness of the people here has helped me to feel welcome, if not exactly... at peace.
Events? That is something I've not heard yet. Or, well, does this have something to do with the island "messing" with us? The blond woman I was speaking with a moment ago said something to that effect.
It does indeed. I've only experienced one such case since arriving here, but it seems that the island likes to play pranks on us. No one really knows what causes things to happen, be it gods or magic or some other force.
Just recently, I was stuck to someone for a week and a half. No matter what I or any of the other residents did, we couldn't pull ourselves away from the person we were stuck to. It was... worrisome.

No one really does, but sadly there isn't much we can do. Everyone here arrived at this place with their memories taken away.
