Saturday Night: Royal Band for a Carnival Ball.

One of my favorite events is a private costume party. I play with the "Royal Band" which plays for the pre-party party for Krewe members.
Trumpeter Miguel painted his coat with images fellow bandmembers Jeanette, who is Queen this year, our late bandleader Bear, present bandleader Ray, various nekkid chyx, and me. I take this as one of the more unusual compliments I've gotten. Miguel offered to cut the sleeve off and give it to me after Mardi Gras, but I urged him to keep his coat of many jazzers whole.
We had a very good band this year.
Today's Mardi Gras Question: "Is it true that some think Carnival is a particularly good time for a casual roll in the hay?"
