Nickelodeon Studios in Burbank California.
I'm going back to school this week. I've been saying the past month I'm going to. But I'm a bit of a procrastinator. I really want to go back though. I haven't seen anybody really all summer so... I should be relatively quiet now though. Only because the summer session is quickly ending. I just want to finish up quick.
I've been in this rut all summer. And I've gotten so sick of looking at all my mess that I'm determined to clear it all away. It's going to be hard seeing as I've been a slob for most of my life. I'm sort of a pack rat too. I just want to keep things so that my kids one day will be like look at this, look at that.
Yesterday my dad and I drove around Burbank and Glendale. I grew up in both cities. Burbank was the last place we lived before we moved here to Simi. We drove past our old apartment. We lived there when the '94 earthquake happened. There's a park across the street that I used to do gymnastics. I was telling my dad the little things I remembered. It's just so weird to see it and think that 12 years ago I used to live there. Everything though seemed so much bigger than it was. I thought the park was an absolute jungle before and I saw it yesterday and was like... that's it? It was so much bigger before. It's amazing how the how world seems to get smaller as you grow older.
