character. CHARACTER NAME: Chimera AGE: Technically he’s six years old, but due to accelerated aging, he has the physical and mental maturity of an eighteen year old. APPEARANCE: The Destroyer. To go a bit more in depth beyond a picture, Chimera is 5’2” and weighs just around 100lbs. He also has three long scars across his chest that were accidentally self inflicted when he was very young. This isn’t his real appearance though, just a shapeshifted one. In his true form, Chimera is roughly six and a half feet tall, and possesses a monstrous appearance. His skin is blue and unhealthy looking, except where it transitions to fur for the lower legs of a gray wolf and the forearms of a grizzly bear. He also has the tail of a lion. His hair is long and purple, thick and wet like it’s soaked with sludge. It falls over his face and obscures most of it except for his bright blue eyes and shark toothed grin. BRIEF WORLD INFO: Chimera’s world is pretty much the same as ours, except for the fact that the government has developed advanced technology in the field of biological research. That is, they’ve figured out how to create successful clones as well as combine DNA from various animals and humans and produce something that actually lives. They haven’t perfected it yet, but they’re working on it. Of course this technology is kept super secret because if the general public knew, there would be all sorts of trouble in the form of moral debates and such.
BRIEF CHARACTER HISTORY: Chimera was created roughly six years ago as part of the Chimera Project in a government facility in the state of Washington, by the Bio-Reap (biological research and weapons) Corporation to be a perfect assassin. He’s a clone, actually, and the thirteenth attempt, at that, which is why his ‘name’ is actually #013, or Subject Three. Specifically, he’s the thirteenth attempt at combining DNA from various predator animals with human DNA. In his case it’s bear, wolf, and lion. It’s only after escaping later that he adopts the name Chimera. For the first two years of his life he went through strict training, both physical and mental. He was trained to suppress his emotions, not show mercy or hesitation during an assignment, and to suppress pain. He was also trained how to control his powers and use them effectively as well as how to fight, the latter through no mercy, kill or be killed situations.
As soon as his training was considered complete he was sent out on assignments-even though he was physically only six years old. Despite being so young, he was able to complete his task successfully and without any errors, showing that his two years of training paid off. For the next couple of years he completed missions without questioning them-no matter if they bothered him or who he had to kill, even when an assignment involved women and children. As time went on, he’d had enough of killing the innocent, knowing it was wrong and not liking it, and constantly being told what to do. He grew increasingly curious about the outside world though, wondering what it would be like to live on the other side of the wall, in the normal world.
