happy birthday to me! kinda :)
So tonight was one of those nights.
I went out to dinner with 2 of my sisters and talked about boys, came up with new phrases (which shall not be put in print just in case), and realized the epiphany we had when we were drunk before semi-formal was still just as true sober.
And funny, the whole purpose of the dinner was to get me out of the house for my pre-21st birthday party. I can home to a delightfully classic "happy birthday sign," a cookie cake complete with the martini 21 theme, balloons, streamers, candles, presents, old school party supplies, but best of all...the girls who will definitley be my wedding party.
What can I say? I haven't had a full blown birthday party like that since I was 10 years old. Sitting on the floor opening presents in front of everyone (in my pink feathery crown!) I realized that they were the reason I stuck with Delta Zeta when it got trying and now we're held together by something much larger.
I don't want to attempt to classify it, I just want to enjoy it. Moments like these are what life is about. Here's to party horns and girls I am so happy to have gotten the chance to know. You all are amazing and beautiful inside and out. You are sisters in every sense of the word and you are total blessings.
Here are to wonderful memories we've made these past 2 1/2 years and the ones we'll be making forever.
