Wow, life is incredibly busy. I went to Ottawa and near-immediately drove to Nova Scotia for vacation. It was gorgeous!! NS is just soo.. pleasant. Laid-back. Vacationy :) Catherine and her bf Kevin and my cousin Colleen and I had our own little roadtrip to Cape Breton, which I'm now in love with. I've got to get that photo gallery set up...
Clean sandy beaches, jumping off natural waterfalls, ocean phosphorescence, fireworks, a Ceilidh, moose chasing our car (!), and mmmmm McLobster. I love McLobster. I love that it exists; it's so ridiculous :D
We visit Nova Scotia mostly to see my grandparents, who live in Antigonish. Sadly they're getting very old (97!) and aren't doing so well anymore... it's really difficult to be there, and it's not good for too many of us to be around the house at once.
My mom bought a satellite radio for the car, so my sisters/cousins infused me with a whole lot of bad music. Of which I'm now obsessed. Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, and Panic! at the Disco (!) = w00tz. Also, my mom's ridiculous Talking Books; so if I start talking with a horribly fake British accent, blame
Jeeves.
We kidnapped my cousin Aimz and took her back to Ottawa. We went kayaking :) and watched V for Vendetta, which was much better than I'd expected. Best movie I've seen since the Sisterhood.
Back at Waterloo now, frantically moving stuff to the new place (2 floors directly downstairs: lol!) and trying to clean up. And trying to get some work done. Next week is going to be _busy_. I hope to spend my time exclusively in Statsland. For multiple different projects!! :o)
I've had tons to write here, but I soon I'm taking off for Toronto for some comic/anime convention (??). Explanation: high-school friends, so it'll be barrels of fun! The original plan was to dress up as the characters from Bleach (and I was gonna dye my hair etc.) but apparently the shipping costs of the costumes was too high. Sad; I wanted my sword!!
alfedenzo and
math_foo are coming too for most awesomeness. Byez!
