[It’s the sudden rush of cold and wet that greet Roy Mustang upon arrival, being dropped rather unceremoniously into the junction of rivers. Sputtering, coughing, sore, and forcing himself to wade through the water to the shoreline, he’s more than a little confused at finding that not only is he devoid of injuries, he’s also been stripped of his ( Read more... )

A little water-logged and sore, but still breathing, so I suppose I'm faring rather well. I thank you for your concern.

Do you need any assistance? I can understand the dislike of water.

Ah, there's a girl who offered a towel, but in a different vein, any information that you could provide about this place would be greatly appreciated.

[voice] I was not thinking of that as a joint post, nope, uh-uh. hiken_ace September 16 2011, 22:10:31 UTC
I'm sorry to say I don't know much about this place. Other than it's called "Luceti", and we've been kidnapped on a large scale.

But we seem to have all we'll need for survival here.

[voice] That would be amazing infireandflame September 18 2011, 01:06:02 UTC
Understood. Are there no authorities that would prosecute such large scale abductions? Also, if you don't mind, would it be too much to ask you to elaborate on that last statement?

[voice] It totally would be. hiken_ace September 18 2011, 02:03:50 UTC
Not from what I've seen. We were brought here by someone called the "Malnosso". This is a different world from any of ours.

Of course. We have plenty of food and water to survive with, as well as houses with working appliances, like stoves, heaters, etc.

Something tells me I'm not going to harbor much good will toward them.

Lodging... That's something I may have to look into. How difficult is it to acquire?

You, and just about everyone else here.

I wouldn't know. I have people here I'm staying with. But I suppose you just find a place, and claim it as yours if no one's living there.

It's reassuring to know I'm not alone in that respect.

That may prove to be my best option. I suppose that it'll be the next course of action after drying off. Does everyone arrive by being dropped into a river or do they think up new methods for each individual?

Not in the slightest.

I think it's different for everyone. I wound up in the middle of the forest.

The middle of the forest is better than the middle of a river. At the very least, you begin your stay in dry clothes.

I never said it was good. It's easy to get lost in there.

...you're still dry. [He'd sooner be lost than wet.]

If you keep walking in one direction, though, you're bound to come upon something, even if it happens to be a cliff or a mountainside.

Point taken.

I'd rather have found a quicker way than that to find the people I was looking for.

Faster routes are always preferable. You did eventually find them, though, correct?
