Cool of the day:
My birthday horoscope in the local paper was pointed out to me. "TODAY'S BIRTHDAY: Because you are likely to begin to get some breaks that have been denied you previously, your material conditions could greatly improved in the near future. Make the most of your affairs when you see the worm turning your way."

NOT COOL of the day:

I went out to the College of Lake County's Jobapalooza job fair tonight. Went out of my way with time, effort, dressup, spent money on resume printouts, etc.

I was turned away at the door. It was an ages 15-21 job fair... Which was clearly NOT LISTED ANYWHERE on the flyers that were plastered all over the city. I was NOT the only one who had angry words on the way out.

I had not anticipated this birthday icon being so apt in his disappointment of the anticipated event. Still, many thanks to Zo for the cutest little party pooper! Also, the sound "Fwrt" has entered my vocabulary of onomatopoeia.

Weddings and birthdays are both supposed to be times to celebrate, right? Can I get my birthday annulled, so I can try again later? Not feeling too celebratory.
