After trying to fall asleep worring till 5:30AM, I got up at 8 to check on Tango. He wasn't doing any better this morning. His gums were still white as snow, and he seemed thinner. So I tried to give him this concoction of a high calorie pet supplement and his antibiotics. He didn't take it very well and gaged while I was trying to administer it. So I called the Doctor at 8:30 like asked and let him know what was going on.
The doctor asked me to bring him in as soon as possible, as well as bring in my other cat, Loki. They did a blood transfusion, with Loki being the donor cat. They tranquilized Loki and had to put ointment in his eyes 'cause they don't close them when they're tranquilized. (creeeepy)
Well that in itself was scary because Loki was breathing soooooooo slow I could help but think "omgomgomg did they give him the wrong thing?! He better not be dead =x".

Well then they shaved Loki's neck to find the viens. They took 4 syringes worth, from two different viens. lol the doctor called him fat. "You know.. this would be easier to find the viens if he were skinnier". I'm like "I knooooooow but he wont lose any weight no matter what diet I put him on T_T". He's my little Squishy One :P

Anyway, they did the transfusion. Tangos body accepted Loki's blood succesfully. He threw up a little but he's been injected and forced to eat and intake a lot of things the past 3 days so that's understandable. The Doctor tried to get him to eat some food and ended up having to force feed him a few bites. They also need a urine sample, so she was trying to squeeze on his bladder to get some out, but he was dry as a desert because he hadn't drank anything.

So we went home with a number of new things. Including a can of special food, a wormer formular (just incase a parasite is causing the anemia), and a couple syringes incase I had to force him to drink.

After an hour of him being home, he started to perk up a little bit, and had the strength to hop up on the window sill. He then was able to hop down (with out falling over...like he did at the vet), and he got a drink of water! That was such a relief. So for now, he's doing a lot better. If he's not doing better in a few weeks, they may need to do another transfusion to hold him over longer to try to find out what's wrong with him.

Loki on the other hand, finally woke up and was falling over himself walking back and forth. Eventually he managed to crawl on the bed and layed next to me while I took a nap before work.

I reaaaaally didn't want to go to work today. I wanted to stay with my little furry children *cry*
