Amanda. A rant.
I've been meaning to rant about this girl for a while, and I figure I'm about to go to work and have to work with her in about 30 minutes so why not go ahead and bitch? ^^
Okay! So... Amanda. She's 30 years old. For the most part she's a good worker.
So what's my problem with her?
She's got a drinking problem, is a chain smoker, and does pot around her kids but says "I really don't want my kids to do pot". I kind of wonder if she does cocaine too.
Anyway. She's 30, lives in a trailer that she bought with money she'd saved up from working as a waitress her whole life. Admirable.
She dropped out of school some time ago and doesn't understand how to properly use a lot of words.
Example: My first day training her she says to me, "I don't have to stand around I can do stuff, I'm not illiterate." *cough* "I think you meant incompetent" "Why? doesn't illiterate mean not able to do things?" "No, illiterate means you can't read..."
Now, that was cute the first time. But she does the whole "got, ain't, wanna" thing too.
Things that have led me to not like her:
I can't stand her anymore. Oh and one time she asked to get off early, went on this whole rant about how she has to pay her family member $3 an hour to babysit her kid while she works, gets off work, then SITS THERE for THIRTY MINUTES and chugs THREE BEERS. G$%&%#&#$ I think there should be a rule that people can't drink where they work, even if they're off duty, damnit. That's just fucking ridiculous.
oooooookay. That's my rant. Now it's time to go to work and have to deal with all of it... Luckily Alaina is working too. She's my favorite. Fun, not annoying, cute, silly, good worker... yeah, definately my favorite co-worker.

- I caught her drinking on the job yesterday
- She says stupid things out loud that shouldn't be said
- She's always pissy and pessimistic
- She always messes up because she can't slow down and take her time
- She always complains that her customers are pissy, when in reality she's showing them she's pissy and that makes them pissy too. (she always says to me "man my customers were horrible today, how where yours?" I don't even REMEMBER the last time I had a pissy customer cause I always fake happy in front of them.)
- She smokes non stop, and next to me when I'm trying to eat because she's too lazy to go out to the back where she's supposed to do it.
- She's called in a number of times, 3 of which were on a Monday, the day that we're supposed to work together, which means I end up working by myself. The first time she called in was after the Superbowl. Her excuse? Hang over. Second time she was "sick" (real reason? Hang over) The third time, this past Monday, was "my boyfriend took off with my phone and my car last night so I can't get to work"... I'm not even going to get into why that's a fucking ridiculous thing (CALL THE FUCKING COPS AND DUMP HIM IF HE DOES THAT SHIT).
- She is ALWAYS using the WORK phone. Or before we open she's on her cell phone. But every time she goes back to put an order in she calls her house/boyfriend/whatever on the WORK phone, when she should be WORKING.
I can't stand her anymore.
