And that bit where John starts distancing himself from Paul, who's gotten too strong and real for his comfort. That really struck a chord.
Oh my god, the line 'Even Beatles get old. Die.' made me shiver. Because I've never thought about it in precisely that way. As long as I've been alive, John's been dead and Paul and Ringo have been old. But I still think of the BEATLES as being young and immortal. So I kind of found that sentence profound.
And right after that, when you say John 'can't see very well with stars in his eyes' after talking to Paul... that broke my heart. After all those years and all that denial, talking to Paul still makes him starry-eyed. ^_^ I bet they both felt that way...
All in all, fantastic. A very good distraction from finals studying and paper writing. :)
