Excerpts from the Song of the Harper:
C2CAM is a direct x-tension to the discoveries of attention training i got from good ol Dr. Parr back in my exstensive baptism into dependant co-arising. My journals are used until all the good mojo is drained out- and then i wash rinse repeat. And it's strange but the study of Quantum Metaphysics, Jeet Kun Tao, Alchemy, Kaballah, Zen , Theosophy, Taoist Mysticism, Bablyonian, Hindu, Buddhist, Norse and Egpytian Religion and yes even Occult Black Magic have left my in a child like love for what the real truth is. I am still avidly learning all i can from these subjects but it's hard for me to grasp where all this is taking me. Am i to become a strange bearded ahret studying the ways of the world before the sad bleaching of christianity and politics. It's odd but i never thought that all of this could be sumised by a term which makes me flinch 'New Age'. I don't think of myself, nor act like, a New Age fool. Crystals can kiss my ass and so can bigfoot (but El Chupacabra reigns supreme) i dislike the ideals of the 'stevie nicks fairy land' however i see myself slowly realizing (Modern Times Modern Places began this thought btw) that what most consider the 'old ways' had more truth in them and a hell of alot more self actualization than the modern world we live in. I suppose that could account for the increase in the populus's desire for Fantasy Movies- it almost reminds me of a line from the new pirates movie where Cpt. Jack replies that "the world hadn't gotten smaller, there was just less in it."
The things that fascinated me as a child are all contained in the things i keep trying to understand and the histories i am following. My teacher had a good name for it- Axial Age Religion (the rise of the Abrahamic Traditions and Buddhism) where the world turned more inward and religion became about self salvation and less about the Pre-Axial Age's religion of surrvival and co-exsitence with the Earth. He argued that the rise in Wiccan and other New Age Religons returning to prominence is that the Desire of the the Modern Human goes beyond self salvation and is facing again a desire to Realize Self Actualization, a balance with nature and an Understand the Universe and the future of Mankind in it. I agree with him on many of the topics and find myself more and more sickend by the Idea of Religion itself and the way it's used- the word Faith based initiative makes me want to morph into a werewolf and go on a eating spree.
I see the frame work of Indra's Web and more and more come to understand the book i did my final Myth and Modern Lit paper on- Doris Lessings "A briefing for a descent into hell". I emplor you to read it if you want something that's far out and will smack you in the head. So how does all this crap help me make shorts. Well i think the context and subtext of what i want to say and talk about has become clear. An investigation into man and the good work and the truth. Art is the great Detective work of exsistence. i said that when i was drunk years ago and wrtoe it down- of course i was reading way to much Chandler at the time....well theres never too much... and it may be a silly ass qoute but i think i really can stand by that.

So behold this strange announcement. The last 2 months i have written 6 shorts; All part of my great investigation-
as the moon was mankind's first TV so may this be some brand new programming. The Channel 98 Broadcasts are now in place. The way i wanted to see them before we decided to make a story around them. I will have some new actors/ actresses as well as some of the AOF stable of Stars- but i may be asking some strange things of everyone and please bare with me. It's been nice to actually talk to you ( i . e. myself ) once again. Perhaps been too long. And yes i refuse to spell check this so don't do it for me :) Hassan a Sabbah
