It's been a fairly uneventual week but it's been difficult to get back into the swing of things after such a great camping trip.
The highlight of the week would have to be the party Sue and I went to last night. I must admit it's probably the reason that I am seeing two monitors at the moment! Let's just say I got a little tipsy and I am kinda paying for it now.
The reason for the party was because Melanie is going away to Sydney. So Sue and I organised my Mum to baby-sit Xuxu and went along to help commiserate Melanie's going away.
It was a great night and I had some great conversations with some new made friends (I hope I didn't talk their ears off!) and old. My voice is pretty hoarse this morning from chatting too much! Some of the chats I had was with people I had met before but never really had a chance to have a "real" conversation with. Gotta be happy with that!
To cut a long story short Sue and I had a great time; I got quite drunk and I talked too much; I think I forgot to say goodbye to Melanie when we left, "Goodbye and good luck Melanie!" (better late than never); we walked into Northbridge through all these scary people at 2:15am to get a cab but managed to jag one quite quickly; I woke up with a hangover...
There you have it.
Anyways, here are some pics of our camping trip that didn't make the cut last week:
This a pic of that Dugite we saw. It is the least upsetting pic I had of it...
There were these two lovely people, Margaret and Richard (both in their 70's), who were the camp hosts. We hardly saw them but they were really nice people and gave us big hugs when we left! I think they liked us because we were "serious" campers and respected the bush just as much as they did...
Another one of Sue and I on the top of Mt Chudalup...
The next one gives you a better idea of what our campsite was like and the one after is just a random tree...
PIXIES ARE COMING SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
