Chapter 6; bowling last night; thoughts about medicines

This will be a short post as my hour timer has gone off, meaning I need to get away from the computer and stretch.

I read Chapter 6 in Security+ yesterday afternoon (all about securing the network).  I got 17 out of 20 on the review questions, and a couple of the ones I got wrong I’m not entirely sure I actually got wrong.  I’ve marked the chapter as perhaps one to go back over when I take a second run through the book.  Today is Chapter 7, although I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to get it done as it is about 80 pages.  It’s about cryptography, though, so it should be interesting.

Last night, I started off great at bowling (247-254), but then I got lost the third game and shot an inconsistent 178.  It was like I couldn’t throw the same shot twice in a row-one frame went through the nose, the next I barely tapped the head pin.  So this brings my overall average down from 233 to 229, but I will still be listed as 211 in two weeks when I come back, since we establish averages for three weeks.  More importantly, the team took all four, so that was good.

When I left for bowling last night, Mom had forgotten that it was Tuesday night, so I didn’t get any dinner, and since I had only had diet shakes for breakfast and lunch, I was feeling kind of woozy when I left, so I grabbed some chicken tenders and fries at the bowling alley to calm the shakes.  When I got home, though, I was still feeling a little off, so Mom made me an omelet and I got some toast.  About 3:30 this morning, I woke up and was feeling a little icky again, so I went downstairs and got some cookies (not waking Mom up, thankfully).  I’m beginning to wonder, with the weight loss and the change in my eating habits, if maybe the dosages of the medications that I’m on for the diabetes are too strong now?  I’ll have to keep an eye on it all.

Well, so much for a short entry.
