Michele Bachmann says that gay people can marry...but only to the opposite sex. In Iowa, where same-sex marriage is perfectly legal, no less, to a kid who is an LGBT activist at her school.
I would advise Bachmann to go ask Ted Haggard and ask how that "gay-man-who-married-straight-woman" thing worked out for him. Because, if I recall correctly, Haggard was a closet-case anti-gay activist, who, while married to a woman, ended up getting caught with a male prostitute and meth.
In a marriage like that, one can only expect it to end badly. Haggard didn't get divorced, however, and continues to deny his homosexuality, which could wind up disastrous if he ever gets caught with his pants down with another man again.
Because homosexuality has no "cure".
