I have done a few shady things in my life, as I know you have, and at the time I felt like the wrong outweighed the right. During those shady moments, I am also grad those who knew about them or witnessed the act kept to their own business. There are times I feel an overwhelming justice is being defiled and I should step in and interrupt others actions. This time with the dumpster wasn't one of them. As for the Korean owner, and the rest of the world, who want more answers or the need to go further into their morality, I let them choose.
No longer do I believe in 'Karma.' People for the most part do get what they deserve, but this is a math probability, rather than a fate like happening. For instance, a guy robs banks for a living and gets caught on the 6th run. Is it karma like fate? No, he just didn't change his game plan and the cops wised up to scheme. He could of gotten away with 20 more if? And 30 more if? And so on.
Yesterday, I passed a teenage girl walking downhill with a musical instrument strapped to her back. At the top the hill I found a folder full of musical sheets. Lacing the two together, I rushed downhill and returned the girl her folder. She thanked me and left. Halfway up the hill a pain in my shin started. It lasted until I made it to the top. That's karma for you. One good dead with pain in its return.
For a last thought, maybe I just don't understand the rules of karma. Who says it would work by my notions anyway? As for now . . .
