Don't you hate it when people preface things with "Am I the only one who..." as though they're some rogue battling against the oppression of the status quo? No, you're not the only one! Nothing you've ever thought is singular to you. Quit being so conceited!
So anyway... Am I the only one who just doesn't see the whole Buffy/Faith thing? Like, at all? Well, not at all. I can see where people come from with Faith, but I disagree. I never thought she was sexually or romantically interested in Buffy at all. To me it always read as at most a girlcrush like people get on celebs. She wants to *be* her, not sleep with her.
And the other way, not even once. B doesn't even come off as even slightly interested--she's pretty boy-focused. I don't think I'm blind to subtext. I can see Spander and Spangel. I can even see Buffy/Giles to degree, but with B/F, I'm just not seeing it.
Yet, apparently for a heck of a lot of people it's just unsaid canon. I just don't get it.
